This points out a bit of crazy in my mind. I was so concerned that a friend might see my house in disarray that I completely neglected myself. Not healthy and certainly not a good way to prioritize. I hope the day will get better because we have some fun stuff planned.
The evening ended up being a lot of fun. We went to a hotel and water park with my CharlieBelle, although my headache never quite relented - I was able to make the best of it and push through. We swam, did our nails, ate snacks, and watched a movie.
I have had many people offer condolences on my diagnoses, which perplexes me a little. Not because they are inappropriate in their gesture of kindness, but because I have looked at this whole thing as a blessing. It has offered me a sense of calm and release to know that I am not crazy or lazy, AND it is a very natural and relatively simple fix (not easy, but simple). I do not have to go on drugs and I have every reason to believe I will heal. After week one I feel better than I have in years and that is more encouraging than I can say, goodnight, hoping for a headache free day tomorrow - we have more fun planned!
