This morning I allowed myself and the kids to sleep in as we have had a crazy, busy week. I felt ok when I woke, but pretty tired from doing so much. We did have one thing planned today - but that was it and it was a fulfilling experience on all levels. It was really nice to hang out with the kids at home today. While they slept I watched one of my all time favorite movies for the first time in years, What Dreams May Come.
I love the cinematic beauty of this film, but even more I love the message. It is so deeply moving and spiritual. It reminded me that life is about the experience we create along the way. That life is essentially created in our interpretation of that experience. Our body, our minds - are temporary. Obvious I know - but I forget in the everyday interactions of life that I will never be younger than I am in this very moment. I am aging as I write this - time on this earth is precious, and limited.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Susanka today and get my book, The Not So Big Life, signed by her today. She inscribed, "May the beauty we love be what we do!" and closed with "Travel well." I am yet sure what that will look like in my life, but there is a foggy vision forming into a dream, a goal - an intention that I will create with this life, God willing. The syncronisities continue to unveil my destiny as my eyes and my energy open to the possibilities.
Food is the substance we derive our energy from. Eating clean provides you with clean energy. Clean energy provides you with a clean life, and transforms into a clear vision of a meaningful life. I am building that foundation now. It is hard and work, and there are times when I just want to give up, but life keeps me moving. The clearing vision of what can be keeps me moving. You keep me moving. Together we can change the unhealthy patterns in this culture to healthy ones, together we can sustain and grow into our potential - thank you for walking down this path with me and holding me up when I need it most.

Good outlook, sometimes I remind myself that food is fuel. Do I want to put poor quality crappy fuel in my tank? No! I want some high octane turbo blue so I can run my butt off on that treadmill!
